About

Caroline was raised in Taiwan where she completed her bachelor’s degree before leaving to travel the world. She was conferred a PhD degree from the department of Educational Studies at UBC in 2020. Her research and teaching interests are predominantly in the parameters of racialized inequality, gender relations, classism, colonialism, imperialism, neoliberalism, social justice, multiculturalism, research methodology, and teacher education. Caroline also received her Masters of Education degree (MEd) in Justice, Law and Ethics from Simon Fraser University and her Masters of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance from Eastern Washington University.
