“David Ng is a Ph.D. student at The Social Justice Institute at UBC. He is a queer, feminist, media artist, and co-founder of Love Intersections, a media arts organization of queer artists of colour. In this episode of the conversation lab we talk about his work, UBC research, and imagining new possibilities of how queer racialized artists can use their practice to transform communities. We spend time discussing how to get people to feel differently, not by just giving them anti-oppressive language but with the tools and information to approach each other differently and how to sit with the discomfort of difficult conversations.”
