The Canadian Council of Women Historians has awarded Dr. Leslie Robertson (GRSJ Institute & Department of Anthropology) & Kwagu’l Gixsam Clan – Standing Up with Ga*axsta*las the very first CCWH Book Prize in Women’s and Gender History. It is awarded every two years to the best book published in the field in the previous two years, in either English or French.
