Dr. Veronica Strong-Boag’s new book was published on International Women’s Day, March 8, 2019. The Last Suffragist Standing tells the story of B.C. suffragist and politician Laura Marshall Jamieson. Dr. Strong-Boag was recently interviewed in the Vancouver Sun about the book (click post title for the link). Dr. Strong-Boag is a UBC professor emerita, a former GRSJ professor, and was one of the founders of women’s studies at UBC.
