Our search for solutions begins by revisiting our past. Conjuring our ancestral spirits, assisted by the shadows of the babaylan (ancient priestess), the dance performance “COLONIAL” opens our dialogue on intergenerational and intercultural leadership issues facing the Filipino-Canadian community in the BC Lower Mainland. The goal of this event is to strengthen our leadership skills and collective capabilities for greater recognition, respect, and responsibility for and within our community.
