Guldana Salimjan recently defended her doctoral dissertation “Finding Kazakh Women in the Chinese State: Embodiment and the Politics of Memory.” Her research interests include performance, memory, and ethnicity in China.

Sheila Sengupta is a Phd Candidate at the Institute for Social Justice, (IGRSSJ), has a Masters Degree in Applied Maths from the University of Calgary with several years of professional experience as a Project Analyst in the Indian Corporate sector.
